Where are the cash pickup locations?

The designated recipient can collect cash at any of the following locations:


How will the recipient know a payment is ready to be picked up?

We will send an SMS message to the recipient phone number listed by the sender notifying the recipient that the funds are available for cash pick-up.


How will I know a payment has been made to the recipient’s bank account?

We will send an SMS message to the recipient phone number listed by the sender notifying the recipient that the funds have been transferred to the bank account.


How will I know my recipient has received the payment?

We will send you an in-app notification notifying you that the fund has been transferred to the recipient’s bank account or available for pick-up at the cash pick-up location. 


What does the recipient need to make a cash pick-up?

The recipient will need to be present at the cash pick-up location; the recipient will also need to present a photo ID with a name exactly matching the one provided by the sender. EMQ SEND will send an SMS message containing the money order code.


What does the recipient need to receive a cash delivery?

The recipient will need to be present at the cash delivery location during delivery; the recipient will also need to present a photo ID with a name matching the one provided by the sender.


What does the recipient need to receive a bank transfer?

The recipient will need access to the bank account that the money has been transferred to. 


Do I need to have an EMQ SEND account to receive a payment?

No, you do not need to have a registered account with EMQ SEND to receive money from a sender. We will contact you with the number provided by the sender to notify you that a remittance has been made to you.


Why haven’t I received a payment?

Please allow at least two business days for us to process the transfer after the sender pays the remittance amount. Check with the sender to make sure the transfer has not been cancelled. If you believe a mistake has been made, please ask the sender to contact our in-app chat support.
