Yes, you can add multiple pay-out methods to the same recipient by simply tapping “+ ADD PAY-OUT OPTION” in your recipient profile page.

How much is the transfer fee?

You will be charged only once for the entire money transfer process. Below are our current remittance fee charges, which is subject to change:

  • Taiwan to Indonesia: 149TWD
  • Taiwan to Philippines: 199TWD
  • Taiwan to Vietnam (Bank Account): 149 TWD
  • Taiwan to Vietnam (Cash Pickup and Cash Delivery): 199TWD

Does my recipient have to pay any fees?

No, your recipient will not be charged any fees when receiving your payment.


What are your exchange rates?

We offer competitive rates to provide you the most value out of every transfer. The indicative exchange rates are available on emqsend.com or at the EMQ SEND App landing page. You will be able to see and confirm the exchange rate during the “Making A Transfer” step.


Why do you need to know my purpose of transfer?

As per regulations, we are required to inquire about the nature of each transfer.


How can I track my money transfer?

You can track the progress of your transfer via the “Transfers” page from the EMQ SEND App Menu.


Can I increase my sending limit?

As per regulations of the Taiwan government, a single transaction limit is subject to a certain amount. Please approach our in-app customer service shall you need assistance.


How do I add a recipient?

Follow these steps to add a recipient to your EMQ SEND account:

  1. Go to the “Recipients” page from the EMQ SEND App Menu
  2. Tap the ”+” icon on the top right corner to add a recipient
  3. Select the recipient’s country flag icon (same as your home country) * Note: You can only transfer money to your home country via EMQ SEND, as per approval of Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC)
  4. Fill out the “Recipient Info” form, be sure to verify that the information is correct
  5. Tap “+ ADD PAY-OUT OPTION” to select a pay-out method and fill in the applicable information
  6. Verify the information you provided is correct then click “SAVE” to finish adding a recipient

How long does it take to transfer money?

Different types of transfers have different processing times, which varies by country, payin amount, and payout method.

Philippines:

  • Cash Pickup: Reference code available within 15 minutes.
  • E-Wallet: within minutes.
  • Bank Account: from 4 hours to 2 working days.
    • Amount over 50,000 PHP or the recipient bank belongs to the banks*1 below: within 1-2 business day
    • Amount is less than 50,000 PHP and the recipient bank is not listed below: in 4~8 hours

Indonesia:

  • Bank Account-Within 30 minutes.
  • Cash pickup- Reference code available within 15 minutes.

Vietnam:

  • Bank Account: within minutes (with NAPAS)
  • Cash Delivery: between 3 hours and the next business day.
  • Cash Pickup: between 15 minutes to one hour. The bank will call your recipient.

How can I send money through GCash?

To be able to send money using GCash, your recipient must have a fully verified GCash account. You can add "GCash" as payout option to recipient: 1. Click “RECIPIENT” 2. From your list, choose the recipient with GCash account. 3. Type the mobile phone number, starting from “09xxxxxxxxx” (no need to input +63)

Please make sure that your recipient name and GCash account name matches.


How do I make a transfer request?

Follow these steps to make a money transfer to a new or existing recipient in the EMQ SEND App:

  1. Click the “$ Send” icon found at the bottom center of your EMQ SEND App.

  2. Enter your transfer amount in TWD or payout currency * Note: Transfer fee is already included in the amount you send.

  3. Click “SEND MONEY" to continue

  4. Add or select a recipient along with your preferred transfer method

  5. Select the pay-in method from the 4 available options:

    1. ibon at 7-ELEVEN 
(QR code payment via the ibon machine)
    2. Family Mart 
(barcode given to cashier)
    3. Hi-Life 
(barcode given to cashier)
    4. “SCSB Virtual Account”
(make a payment to EMQ’s SCSB Virtual Account through ATMs, online banking, mobile banking or go to an SCSB bank counter to pay for your transfer)
  6. Select the most appropriate Purpose of Transfer from the “Purpose” drop-down list, and check “I declare the source of fund for this transfer is salary.” if you agree.

  7. Verify the information you provided is correct then tap “SUBMIT” to complete your transfer request.

EMQ SEND will review and wait for your payment.
