Follow these steps to make a money transfer to a new or existing recipient in the EMQ SEND App:

1. Go to the “Send” page from the EMQ SEND App Menu
2. Tap on the recipient “flag icon” to choose the recipient country and pay-out currency
3. Enter your transfer amount in HKD or pay out currency Note: A transfer fee is included in the amount you send
4. Click “SEND MONEY" to continue
5. Add or select a recipient along with your preferred pay-out method
6. Select the pay-in method from the 2 available options:
   1. Circle K (pay at Circle K convenience store)
   2. Jet Payment (make a deposit transfer to EMQ through a JETCO ATM)
7. Select the most appropriate Purpose of Transfer from the “Purpose” drop down list, and tick “I declare source of fund for this transfer is salary.” if you agree.
8. Verify the information you provided is correct then tap “SUBMIT” to complete your transfer request.

Now that you have requested a transfer, EMQ SEND will review and await your deposit payment before placing a money transfer order to your recipient

This depends on the payout method and country. After customer pay in and transfer approval, money is typically available within (subject to our pay-out partners' handling time):

• E-Wallet: within minutes

Follow these steps to add a recipient to your EMQ SEND account:

1. Go to the “Recipients” page from the EMQ SEND App Menu
2. Tap the ”+” icon on the top right corner to add a recipient
3. Select the recipient’s country flag icon
4. Fill out the “Recipient Info” form, be sure to verify that the information is correct
5. Tap “+ ADD PAY-OUT OPTION” to select a pay-out method and fill in the applicable information
6. Verify the information you provided is correct then click “SAVE” to finish adding a recipient


Yes, you can add multiple pay-out methods to the same recipient by simply tapping “+ ADD PAY-OUT OPTION” in your recipient profile page.

No, your recipient will not be charged any fees when receiving your payment.

As per regulations, we are required to inquire about the nature of each transfer.

As per Hong Kong AML and CTF regulations, we are required to set a daily limit for the total amount sent by a user, and the amount sent in each transfer in order to seek additional verification and information before we can process the transfers.

You cannot increase the single transfer limit, but with appropriate proof, you may be able to increase the cumulative amount limit

For monthly cumulative amount above and equal to HKD8,000, customer has to provide the following supporting documents for validation: 1. Document regarding your source of funding or 1. Proof of Salary
